Being located in one of Newark’s oldest historic districts, this project went through several levels of challenging approvals. The James Street Historic District, Newark Landmarks & Historic Preservation Commission and the Newark Zoning Board all approved the design after robust feedback and input from the community. This dwelling units will be sold a condominium units – an idea being promoted by the Mayor’s administration to bring more home ownership to Newark.
